IT STARTS WITH a Parent
Empowered Through Positive Parenting is an eight week parenting course given to both voluntary and court-ordered custodians that teaches them the causes and functions of child behaviors as well has how to manage their (the caregiver’s) own stress to be better prepared for the innumerable challenges in parenting. During our contracted time with Danville City Public Schools, there have been approximately 10 courses of Empowered Through Positive Parenting provided at no cost to the community, resulting in over one hundred families receiving these services.
