Behavior & Autism Services Training Day

October 12, 2016

Clinicians in our Behavior and Autism program have worked very hard to obtain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentialing, and they use that training each day with our clients. In addition to that training, here at The Madeline Centre, we value the process of continually learning and growing as professionals. We are always looking for opportunities to further our knowledge so that we can better assist our clients with their mental and behavioral health.

With this value in mind, we recently held an all-staff training for our Behavior & Autism Services (BAS) program. During the training, our clinicians participated in fun and instructional team-building activities to hone their clinical skills. These activities focused on exercising the clinician’s creativity in helping clients to meet goals on their Individualized Service Plans, while connecting with the children and their team in the process. Our clinicians sharpened their observational skills to collect data in a natural environment. Our clinicians were also given the opportunity to put their fun and engaging personalities to use by learning new interventions to apply in sessions with our clients. The BAS team grew in their skills and knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy – and had fun while doing it!
