Peggy Deyerle, aka Margaret or Peg, born in Baltimore, was a teacher in Appomattox County for 29 years and a school counselor in Pittsylvania County for 8 years. She retired from Gretna High School at the end of the 2010-2011 school year. She has been married to Norris Deyerle since 1975. They have a daughter and son, a grandson and granddaughter with another granddaughter on the way. Peg likes to collect thimbles and ladybug items, play with the grand kids, shop, and go rail fanning with Norris. The Deyerle’s are members of Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church where they go to worship Jesus Christ with other believers.  Peg’s favorite quote is Isaiah 40:31
