I believe life is a journey and each person uses a unique map and
compass to find his/her promise land.
Sometimes we stop in awe of a breathtaking view; sometimes we close
our eyes tightly afraid to see what?s around us. Sometimes we enjoy
the adventure, and sometimes we long for a familiar place to return to.
Sometimes we enjoy the company along the journey, and sometimes we
lose them. Sometimes we pick up treasures along the way, and
sometimes our luggage gets too heavy to bear. Sometimes we spend too
much time thinking of the places we have been and forget to live in
the moment, sometimes the lessons we learned in past make us reluctant
to step forward.
I literally traveled around 20 different countries and lived in five
of them. Through my journey, I discovered that people are
fundamentally the same everywhere. We want to be loved and to love.
Unfortunately, this gift of love is sometimes taken away from us by
living in this broken world.
I, as a therapist, would like to be a sojourner with those who are
struggling and hurting on their journey.
I am currently pursing a Master’s degree in Counseling. I have
different career experiences including student advocate, youth
counselor, journalist, and customer service representative. However,
I think this privilege to work as a part of the team at the Madeline
Centre is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling so far.
