Justin Berkley graduated from Virginia Tech in 2003 with a degree in Psychology. He is currently pursuing his M.Ed. at Lynchburg College, studying Counseling. His current research interests involve crisis intervention, the use of music as a therapeutic tool, the application of martial arts curriculum towards a course of treatment, bully prevention, school mental health, and program efficacy.
His personal interests revolve around the creative and martial arts. He has trained in several styles of karate and jiu jitsu, and currently plays lead alto sax in a Roanoke-based big band.
