I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Virginia and my Master’s in Community and Addictions Counseling from The College of William & Mary. Professionally, I’ve been with TMC since 2012 and have worked in their Intensive In-Home, Therapeutic Day Treatment, and Outpatient Counseling departments. I am currently the Director of Addiction and Recovery Treatment Services. Much of my internship and volunteer work was focused on addressing the mental health and recovery needs of those adults and adolescents who suffer from substance addictions. I am absolutely passionate about finding a way to assist those who have been burdened by substance use in finding HOPE and a way to be a contributing citizen to their families and communities. I believe that hope, support, and empathy can go a long way in changing the lives of the people I serve. I count it a privilege and a blessing for them to entrust me with their turning point season.
I’m from the small town of Chatham, Virginia, where I live with my husband, Daniel. I enjoy singing and spending time with my family and friends. I am a faithful Virginia Cavaliers’ fan and I love all sports, especially volleyball. In my spare time, I play with my nephews and I binge watch reality TV.
