In the seven years of working at The Madeline Centre, the staff has become more like family than coworkers. They have encouraged and supported me to achieve both my professional and personal goals. I have enjoyed working with such a passionate team of professionals that care deeply about the mental and behavioral health of our community.

After graduating from Pensacola Christian College in 2008, I moved from my hometown in Maryland here to Lynchburg. I started soon after at TMC as a part-time file clerk. Seven years later, I’m now one of the Administrative Assistants and am involved with what seems like every part of the agency–from technical assistance to hiring.

After moving to Lynchburg, I joined and now lead in my church’s women’s ministry. There I found true friendships and deep teaching that have shaped me to be the woman I am today. I met my husband also at my church and we married in 2014 on a perfect Friday night. We took on a new adventure when we welcomed our first child, Barrett – “Bear,” to our family on August 2, 2016. There is no joy like being a mama, friend, and wife in this small town, and I’m grateful every day for the little and big blessings life brings. My hobbies include watercoloring, handlettering, napping, and winning free stuff.
